About Me

My motto:

"Dreams don't come true on their own — you have to put in the work

to bring them to life."

Hey there! I'm Jesica Mraz. "Jes" for those who know me. I was born in Buenos Aires, but I've been living in Brazil for a few years now.

I support lifestyle entrepreneurs as they move forward on their entrepreneurial journey by providing guidance and support, taking care of their personal well-being, and helping them improve their Spanish. My approach is always rooted in authenticity, in staying true to what feels real, enjoying the journey, and letting personal growth guide us.

My Essence

I love traveling, taking walks, uncovering hidden gems, meeting fascinating people, dining at charming spots, and savoring a cozy cup of tea (or even having a "lágrima" around 5pm—typical of a true Porteña like me, because a great café is a must). I enjoy working out, soaking in nature, practicing languages (I speak English and Portuguese besides my native Spanish), having real conversations, and dancing. I’ve even recently ventured into drawing classes.

I always put experiences over material things, striving to maintain a balance between my personal and professional life every single day. Oh, and I love waking up at my own pace—with a quiet prayer, some yoga stretches, and a leisurely breakfast—that’s non-negotiable.

To me, entrepreneurship isn’t just a way to earn a living; it’s a way to live in alignment with what I truly believe in. I’m all about creating experiences that make a positive difference, both in my life and in the lives of those I help.

My Story

For nearly 20 years, I built my career in Communications and Public Relations, coordinating local and regional projects for various companies and agencies. Along my 13+ year entrepreneurial journey, I've taken many paths—I started my own consultancy, launched Lumínicaa, and even kick-started an alternative tourism project in Brazil called BANTT, among several other playful and creative ventures.

But my entrepreneurial spirit isn’t just about big projects—it’s woven into the everyday actions of my life. It’s in the initiatives I take on, the groups I form, the projects I lead, and the activities I join to boost my well-being and enjoyment. Every day, I commit to growing, evolving, and learning from what doesn’t work while amplifying what does. I have a deep desire to be the leader of my own life, designing it the way I want on my own terms—as much as possible, even though life sometimes throws us realities we can’t control.

The core foundations? Freedom, independence, authenticity, well-being, connection, relationships, enjoyment, and inner peace.

Why am I offering these mentoring sessions?

Sometimes, life takes us on unexpected journeys. A while back, I decided to get back into my online English conversation practice. I went with the classic approach: reactivating my profile on one of the most popular language learning platforms. It took a little while to find a tutor that truly clicked with me (yes, I have Mars in Virgo, so my selection standards are pretty high, haha), and after comparing a few options, I settled on an American with an academic yet relaxed vibe—let's call him “Mr. C.”

At first, our sessions flowed nicely. He’d throw out some conversation starters, and we’d chat. Over time, our roles shifted a bit. Since I love talking and always have plenty to share, that wasn’t a problem—I was constantly engaged. The catch was that Mr. C didn’t really have to do much to keep the conversation going. I ended up doing most of the talking. A couple of months in, something started to feel off: our English classes had morphed into a cathartic space for me, where I’d unload the challenges, setbacks, wins, and successes of my life as an entrepreneur—all while practicing English. I had intended to train in the language, but I never expected the sessions to become a space where I could truly open up to someone else. And yet, it happened.

I grew comfortable with the format—the structure, the routine—but not with the content. Something wasn’t quite right. I felt lonely. On the other end of the line, there was barely any echo, feedback, active listening, or reciprocity—certainly not at the level I had hoped for. Mr. C would just stare at the screen with a relaxed, almost absent-minded look, contributing very little while I recounted my endless tales of being a lifestyle entrepreneur working from home, seeking balance, and so on.

This wasn’t a one-day revelation. It happened gradually. And in the midst of my introspection and my quest for fulfillment (because when something doesn’t feel right, I’m relentless in searching for answers), I realized: “There’s something more here…” The message was clear—my own need was guiding me toward a new path.

That’s when I officially launched my mentoring sessions to support entrepreneurs who want to share their daily experiences while practicing a language—in this case, Spanish. Because, yes, entrepreneurship can often be a lonely road. Experiencing that firsthand left me with no other choice—it was the natural next step. But I decided to do it differently, with my core values guiding the way: dedication, commitment, active listening, reciprocity, authenticity, passion, and wholehearted engagement. That’s my signature, and that’s exactly what I offer you.
